Covid-19 Update
The arrival of Covid-19 has meant we have never spent so much time at home and in our gardens. Living with social distancing rules, travel restrictions and even periods quarantine means we are focusing more on our personal spaces and what we can do to improve them so they serve us better in these times.
Sara at No.30 Design Studio can offer a full garden design service following the latest government guidelines, with the safety of her clients at the foremost of her mind, to help them realise their dream gardens
Consultation
After your intial enquiry, Sara can arrange a socially distanced initial design consultation and site visit , which will acertain the design requirements and scope of works for the client brief.
Sara can put a quote together outlining the fees for concept design, master plan, planting plan along with additional services that she can offer later in the process
If accepted Sara will arrange for a survey
Survey
Sara will do local surveys personally, maintaining social distancing guidelines
If the garden is further away, or you are self isolating, dimensions can be provided or desktop surveys can be done
For really complicated garden shapes or levels, drone surveys can be done, again, within government guidelines for safe working practices and social distancing
Concept Design
With the client brief and survey information, the design process will be undertaken by Sara, working from home
The concept design will be emailed over to you in the form of photo realistic images like the one at the top of the page, along with an explanation of the design rational.
Sara feels that this is the best way to communicate the look and feel of the garden, and following any feedback or amendments on the design a masterplan and planting plan will be produced
Plans
The masterplan is a scale drawing of the garden, showing key trees, shrubs, features, and material finishes and any design notes necessary.
This will be emailed over to you in a pdf format, and can be sent to contractors if required
Sara will then produce planting plans for all areas to be planted. Again to scale, they will detail all plants, positions and quantities
